Radio SFM 102.7, formerly known as Radio SuperSonic FM, has a rich history dating back to 1995 when it was founded in Gros-Morne by Monsieur Luckency EMILE. With a background in electronics, Monsieur EMILE was able to create low-capacity transmitters that helped establish the radio station. Unfortunately, SuperSonic FM went off the airwaves in 1998, but on December 31, 2014, after a 19-year hiatus, Radio SFM made a triumphant return to the FM band. Today, Radio SFM 102.7 continues to entertain and inform listeners in Gros-Morne and beyond, carrying on the legacy of its founder and staying true to its roots in providing quality radio programming.
